This is a screen printed poster depicting a stylised monkey with orange hair against a black background.
The monkey’s upper body fills much of the poster; one arm reached into some foliage at the top of the image, while his other hand points to the slogan which begins in the bottom third of the poster.
The poster reads: ‘The tropical rain forests are home to half of all the plant animal and insect species on earth, and are watersheds that prevent erosion drought and flooding. Help the WWF save them from destruction.’ The World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), was founded in 1961 and is the world’s largest conservation organization.
